The Daily Kelly - Day 192

Today was a ridiculously lazy day off. I got up late, I read a novel, and I played with my phone (I also had one of those hours long Google binges and am now an expert on a few new useless topics). I had plans for laundry and birthday present gathering... but tomorrow's another day.

While I was in Cleveland last month, a coworker I work with everyday but had never met before was kind enough to teach me how to install Gameboy games on my non-jail broken iPhone. And then I totally forgot about it until today. I finally added some ROMs and played a couple games. My first try was really sad: 

Yeah, I let my man Beast down. Fail. 

I did a bit better with Tetris. The thing that keeps killing me (and my characters) is not being able to "feel" the controls. It's really hard to do anything with much accuracy in the emulator. It's totally cool to have, but my Game Boy collection gets to live on in real life for the time being. 

After draining my battery playing games and surfing the web, I decided to play with Siri in iOS 7... mine is a guy now since I don't like the new female voice... at all. 

So there you have it, Kelly's totally wasted (but awesome anyway) day off.
