The Daily Kelly - Day 96

Today was the laziest of lazy days. I had plans to clean, take out the trash, go buy some food... but I didn't. What I did do was sit on the couch like a big lump and play with my new toy most of the day. I did manage a load of dishes... but not much more.

While I was playing with MiniPad, getting my favorite apps, etc setup, I saw a free app that made me super curious. So I installed it, and proceeded to lose an hour or two of my life. If you have kids, you need this app... if you don't have kids... you still need this app.

It's Toca Hair Salon 2 and it's currently the Free App of the Week in the Apple App Store. The creepiest part of it for me was the sounds the characters make, I'm sure it's good for kids to learn that their actions have consequences for others (especially when it comes to hair) but I just muted it when I moved on to my second character. The coolest part is that you can take pictures of your masterpiece when you're done.

 I think he looks a little like a peacock.

Just like with school pictures, they don't always come out looking good.

So... as you can see... lots of fun to be had by all :-) I did try out all of the characters, there's a weird one that looks like a baboon that I didn't have much luck finding anything stylish for, lol.

After that fun, I finished off my App fun with some PhotoBooth time...

My twin here says I'm not crazy.... :-)
