Today I went to Athens to pick out a new pair of glasses
(they were so awesome they had to be special ordered based on a pair that I
really liked but was way too big for my head). Eventually those glasses will be
coming to the Daily Kelly. Just not today. Or tomorrow.
After that I met up with my boyfriend and had dinner with
his parents and their friends. It was awesome, as always. Afterward my
boyfriend and I went back to his house and watched the Princess Bride. I've never really
warmed to the movie, but this time was the best viewing I've had so far, I
think it's really starting to grow on me.

This was nearly my last photo. Ever. Scary. |
When I got ready to head home the weather was HORRIBLE.
Like, the worst storms we've seen in a long time. There were good chunks of the
drive where I wasn't pressing the gas at all; I was just steering and coasting
through water. It was like extra-dangerous water skiing. You also know it's a
bad sign when you're listening to a radio a station from half way across the
state and they interrupt a song for a severe weather warning for the exact
location you're driving through. Very not cool.
Once I finally made it home through all of that, I was
greeted by pollen "drifts," sadly they could not be washed away by
the storm.
Here are two different angles for those of you who have never seen
Georgia pollen:
