Here I am out to dinner in Athens with my boyfriend, I'm wearing my YOLO? zombie shirt and that sign I'm holding is for creme brûlée... not typical Carrabba's fare. We didn't try it, we were both too full from dinner to have dessert.
Once I headed back home, I stopped to get the mail and saw this sign. I love the scare tactics they're trying to use to rent garages. There is no way on earth I'd still have a garage if I had to pay $50 a month for it, though I'm glad my car lives in a garage so I don't have to guard my catalytic converter with my life.
On my doorstep when I got home, for real this time, was the new bigger hard drive for my computer. Yay! I decided to go ahead and install it tonight. I've never done any sort of computer hardware repair before, but I take it as a good sign that so far, my computer knows it's a Mac.
After a few hours of reloading the operating system and doing the upgrades, I'm finally back to Mavericks and ready to transfer my data back over. As you may have realized, pictures make up the bulk of my storage issues, take a look at my iPhoto library:
Luckily, it picked up the pace and didn't take anywhere near that log to complete the transfer. |
