The Daily Kelly - Day 195

Tonight was FUN... yeah, there are loads of puns in this post. 

I bought the tickets for the Fun. concert the day they were put on sale. I had gotten an email saying that Tegan and Sara were coming with them, and Tegan and Sara have been my favorites forever, so of course I had to go. 

A few months later, I found out that Tegan and Sara were not coming with Fun, but I like Fun. too and I'd already paid for the tickets... 

Even FourSquare was a little confused about who was going to be there tonight:

 My boyfriend allowed himself to be dragged along, I promised him it would be a FUN time.

We settled in to listen to the warm up bands... there were two. The first, the warm up for the warm up, was Roscoe Bandana. I'm not exactly sure how many members are actually in their band, but there seemed to be 9 to 10. They were also extremely ADD and appeared to have watched way too many rock videos from the 90s. None of their songs were any good, until they played a country song. Turns out their kind of a big up and coming deal in the country world. They really really need to stick to country, that was actually a pretty good song. Here's a blurry, far away shot of Roscoe Bandana:

After the ADD-fest that was Roscoe Bandana, the awesomeness that is Hunter Hunted came out. They were a real, performance polished, band. Every song was pretty fantastic. They even did a couple really tight covers. Here's an even blurrier picture of them:

Then, it was time for the main event. Some might even say it was time to have some Fun.

 We had an extremely Fun. night and I highly recommend going to see Fun. if they come to your area, I know I'll keep an eye out for the next time they come to Atlanta. Here I am in a pretty fantastically-caught selfie:
