Today was a big day… yesterday wasn't so much, but I got distracted by my new project (tentatively titled Kelly and the Library Catalogue of DOOM) and ended up forgetting to take a selfie… here's a picture of Cokaya "helping" me last night:
I've decided that enough is enough and I'm going to keep better track of what books I actually own. I'm using BookCrawler, and I'm scanning on my iPad. I tried it on my phone, but batch importing on my iPhone 4S was way slow compared to my iPad Mini. So I scanned two and a half shelves last night… and ended up at 189 books. Yeah, that's a lot. I also have a ton of really old books, and I've discovered that pre-ISBN books are no fun to enter, and books without Library of Congress info an no ISBN are even less fun, lol. New challenges for me to overcome.
On to today… I went to the chiropractor super early this morning, got my self adjusted, and then headed to Athens. My boyfriend's parents were in town again, so we went to lunch and then went shooting with them.
After spending a little time with my boyfriend, I headed back to my side of the world and hit up Target and then the library.
Here's a sign that I've never noticed at the library before:
I have mixed feelings about the possible meanings of this sign, is it saying no zombie cigarettes? No animated smoking? No drawing cigarettes? The options are endless… (also, digging my shoes).
All of today's running around was so that I would end up at home on time for our Geek Squad Summer Academy training tonight.
Here's a screenshot:
Why yes, I am wearing an animated pirate hat... it matches my shirt. :-)
