I hurt myself today. No… this is not one of my random musical references. I really hurt myself today. I sit on an exercise ball when I'm working. It's good for your posture, so much easier on your back, and it's way more fun to bounce. I have three, but I only use two. Due to my height, I should use a little ball, but I go back and forth between the 65 cm and the 75 cm (my 55 cm is too short for my desk no matter what I do with my keyboard tray). The 75 is nice because it's taller so I'm closer to my screens and my Mac's keyboard isn't on a tray like my work keyboard it so when I'm using the Mac for a lot of typing I always sit on the 75. Well, today my knee was hurting so I decided to try and stick with the 65 all day. At one point, because my office gets so hot in the afternoon and I had the fan running, the 75 ended up rolling between my orange room divider and me. I twisted around and rolled it away and it felt like it took my wrist with it.

I am not sure I have felt pain like this in a wrist since I fell down in middle school and they thought I might have broken it. Holy wow. It's awful. I know there is no way it's broken but every single little movement sends tendrils of fire racing up my arm. And it's my shooting arm. No bueno. I'm off work tomorrow, hopefully that will give it a chance to rest and heal up before it's back to crazy fast typing on Thursday.
In other news, you can almost see the newest decorative addition to OfficeSpace@Casa de Kelly... It's a poster (I only own about 20 full size movie posters) and it's for my favorite movie of all time. Maybe one day I'll take a picture where I'm not blocking 98% of it (and yes, it is way better secured than the Ghostbusters one was).
