The Daily Kelly - Day 82

I ended up having to call out from work tomorrow… super sad when you work from home. I can't sleep, I can't move. I finally got into a doctor today. Here is a pic I took when I got stuck at a railroad crossing on the way there. When you're miserable, getting stuck and waiting for what seems like the longest train of all time to go by is not fun.

The doctor did help me with the breathing issue. My whole body, especially where that vertebra was out of whack, feels beat down. I still can't rest or get to sleep at all. But it's a bit better and that's progress.

Here's some insult to go with my injury... if there's a tie on SongPop...

apparently there is no such thing as a draw. :-\ (Before anybody asks, I play with opponent's guess turned OFF, it drives me crazy when it's turned on, and I'm not really that upset, I've just never seen a tie before).

The Daily Kelly - Day 81

It's entirely possible I'm dying. No, I'm being overly dramatic. I just feel like death is imminent. Something slipped out of place in my back and it hurts to take any breath whatsoever. I can't sleep. This is sooooo not cool.

Here I am on my bathroom floor in the middle of the night trying the "lay flat and hope" method of back fixin', it didn't work.

The Daily Kelly - Day 80

I had a job interview this morning. I got up and dressed up… it was a phone interview and they never saw me, but I always feel better when I'm dressed for the part.

The job I interviewed for would still have me working at home for the same group, just a completely different role. So whether I get it or not I'll still be doing something that I love every day.

The Daily Kelly - Day 79

Good evening party people! I hit a milestone in the new job tonight, so I'm in a pretty good mood. Not that I would be in a bad mood otherwise. Maybe it's because Do a Little Dance, Make a Little Love just came on iTunes. Who knows. I'm bouncy right now and that's all that matters.
I worked the late shift tonight, it was crazy busy early on, and my work computer decided to just give up on life, so I had to uninstall and reinstall the software that we use to actually help clients, and then it took me forever to get back online. Once I got back on though, it was totally stable, which it hasn't been lately, so that's cool.
Here's a picture showing how ridiculously crazy my hair has gotten:

It's still a little wet from my shower here, but imagine how long it would be if it were straightened out… it's crazy. I seriously need a haircut. But after watching the video I made right after my last hair cut in October of last year, I'm not so sure I want another haircut (it seriously looks like a bowl cut, and I don't remember that).
I got up this morning and made breakfast, went back to bed for a nap, and then got up and made dinner before getting in the shower. While I was waiting on the food to come out of the oven, I played a little SongPop.
Now, I've heard Fairport Convention's Fotheringay, but other than that one song, I've seriously never heard of them. How did I end up with three of their songs in one round? Something's off with SongPop's shuffle or something.

The Daily Kelly - Day 78

As I've mentioned before, my office gets hotter than the surface of the sun in the afternoon. Today, I discovered one contributing factor (other than the massive wall of windows), and that would be the fact that the AC vent is closed on the inside. I have 10-foot ceilings. How exactly am I supposed to get up there to get it open? If I call my landlord they'll probably come out and spray some bleach at it and say it's all good (this is their typical response, I kid you not "Window leaking? Here, we'll squirt a little bleach on it, it's all good").
Here's a really crappy iPhone-zoomed picture of the problem.
So after I got off work today, I rested up, since work was absolute insanity. Then I got ready to go to bed and realized that I work super late tomorrow. So now I'm trying to stay up late… which I don't think is going to last much longer. I'm so sleepy that I don't even care to retake this picture, it's a little blurry, but I'm in it.
I will stay awake, I will stay awake, I will... go to bed now.
